Following the incredible growth of the KCM Marathon, anticipation is already building for the 2027 edition bringing together runners, families, fitness enthusiasts, corporate teams, athletes and the wider Chingola community for another celebration of health, endurance, unity and community spirit.

Hosted at the iconic Nchanga Golf Club, the KCM Marathon has grown into more than a race. It is a platform that brings people together, promotes active and healthy lifestyles and creates opportunities for communities to participate, connect and achieve something meaningful together.

After the success of the 2026 edition, which welcomed participants across multiple categories and was positioned as a major community development initiative, the excitement for 2027 is already building. The 2026 marathon was expected to attract more than 2,500 participants, with proceeds supporting infrastructure development at Nchanga Golf Club.

The KCM Marathon's inclusive spirit means there is a place for everyone from seasoned marathoners chasing a personal best to first-time runners, children, families and differently abled athletes.
